With the divine blessings of our Paramatmas and guidance of our Gurujis, the Jain Center of New Jersey has embarked on a project to construct a new temple in Franklin Township, New Jersey. The Derasar will have our traditional design and a total area of about 6,000 square feet. It includes Ghabharas for Pratimajis, Bhamati with installation of 24 Pratimajis, Shikhars, Rang Mandap and a partial basement. The Prayer Hall Building will have two floors with a total area of about 42,000 square feet. The upper floor of the building will contain a large assembly hall, dedicated areas for Digambar, Sthanakwasi and Shrimad Rajchandra traditions and Pathshala rooms. The lower floor will have a dining hall, kitchen, additional Pathshala rooms, audio/video room and library.
